My professional career started in 1984 with an apprenticeship as a lawyer’s and notary’s assistant. Since October 10th 2011 I support the team of Dr. Jorczyk. As his assistant and office manager I coordinate the (inter-)national advisory services and activities concerning seminars.

My professional career started with the North Rhine-Wesphalian tax authorities in 1984. I left them in 1991 with the rank of tax inspector. Between 1997 and 2011 I worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Düsseldorf and was responsible for the Centre of Competence "Tourism and Taxes".

On 4 July 2011 ("My Private Independence Day") I opened my own professional freelance-practice specializing in tax consultancy for the tourism trade and incorporated as TTL Tourism Tax & Law Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH (TTL) in Cologne.

I am a member of the Tax Committees of the German Travel Association (DRV) as well as International Association of Package Tour Operators (VPR) and other bodies lobbying on tax issues concerning the tourism trade in Germany and on a European level.

In the academic world I hold the position of a visiting lecturer on tax law related to the tourism and event industry at the "ISM International School of Management". In addition, I frequently publish articles on tax issues relevant to the tourism industry in specialized professional journals, in particular, in Steuer- und RechtsBrief Touristik (

Biannual tax seminars in Germany (Tourism Tax Symposium, TTS, and TTS Update) as well as a unique international "TOMS & VAT Together", the so-called TTL Travel VAT Conference (TTL TVC), annually organized within the pan-European TTL Net, complete TTL's tourism tax service package.
